Afterward, I planned to dry the hair to reactivate the curls, but I wanted the curl pattern to appear even more distinct and defined—hence the decision to dampen the hair first. I then "scrunched" the hair upward to make the curls pop. Once the hair dries completely, it will set and hold this curly texture.
Step 6: Define and Shape the Curls
I took a little more EcoStyler gel and applied it to the crown of the wig to ensure the top remained sleek and flat. I also applied a small amount to the curls themselves to make them look sharper and more defined.
Step 7: Dry the Wig
Air-drying is the best option for the wig; however, to save time, you can use a diffuser attachment. I set my blow dryer to the "medium heat" setting rather than the "high heat" setting. Once the wig was completely dry, I applied some hair oil. This gave the wig a beautiful, lustrous, and glossy finish.
