I removed my nail polish before installing the hairpiece because I was going to braid the front of my hair. Let's get started! I installed the entire hairpiece myself.
Step 1: Prep Your Natural Hair
As WatchCrissyWork demonstrates, the first step is preparation. First, ensure your hair is clean and moisturized, and that it's dyed black. The reason is that I wanted a more protective and natural-looking hairstyle. That's why we needed to dye it. Then braid it into a close-to-the-scalp braid or a flat twist.
Before braiding, apply a small amount of leave-in conditioner to protect and moisturize the real hair underneath the wig. After braiding, put on a wig cap that matches your scalp color to create a smooth base and reduce friction.
Step 2: Secure the Wig with the Drawstring
Pick up your Nadula voluminous kinky curly half wig and gently shake to loosen the curls and make it more voluminous. It has two combs, one on the upper right, one on the side, another on the side too, and one at the back. Insert the front comb behind your hairline or into the loose section of hair. Secure the back comb below the last braid or at the nape of your neck.
