Hey, rebels! Welcome back once again, as you can see from the title, today's video is a hair tutorial, which is in partnership with nadula hair, shout out to them for sending me today's body wave v part wig and all the goodies that came along with nadula hair.

This is what the wig looks like, there's no lace, it is called a v part wig, and as you can see it has clips and combs around the perimeter area to make sure it's secure once I put it on. The length of this wig is 24 inches and the wig with a body wave texture. The density is 180 percent, so it is pretty full.
1. Braided the rest of my hair down
To prep my hair for this body wave v part wig install, I just sectioned off my leave out, left some hair out around the perimeter, and braided the rest of my hair down. I'm just going to go ahead and take it out. and I am natural I don't usually put too much heat on my hair, but we're going to try to make it blend as best as we can. Anyway, I'm using this wax from the influence line to help with straightening and blending my leave out and I absolutely love this stuff.
I'm not gonna lie, I really forgot how good leave-out looks like, it definitely gives a more natural look. I definitely like that I got the forehead out, but that's all right you've all seen the forehead before.
4. Put a few curls in the hair with my flat irons
Next, I'm just going to go ahead and put a few curls in the hair with my flat irons. So I did the rest of my curls off camera, but this is how they came out, this is how they look before tampering with them, just so that they last a little bit longer. I'm gonna go ahead and spray some of my pumps it up super hold spritz on all of my curls.
5. Make baby hair and add layers to the wig
Now it is edge's time, so I usually use the edge tamer from the Ebon brand and it works pretty well on my natural hair and my body wave v part wig, so yeah that's what I'm using here. Now, once that's done, I'm going to go ahead and pull my curls out, and then I'm going to add some layers unless I'm doing straight hair. Guys, I almost always add layers, layering hair can help to create shape and give volume and movement to the hair, and you all want all of that.

So I absolutely love the way. This hair looks when I received, the hair I had a specific look in mind to do, and I feel like I bodied it. The texture of this body wave v part wig is very silky, it's very soft. Next time I will go with the more Yaki texture so that it blends just a little bit better with my natural hair texture, but yeah it does hold a curl very well.
The only thing I will say is that this body wave v part wig is very big head friendly, I have a pretty small head, so I can feel some extra room in the back of the wig. It's not that bad, but that's just me trying to find something, this will be my go-to wig this spring, easy to pop on and easy to take off at the end of the night. I'm calling this a five-minute sew-in because it only took about five minutes to install it and clip it in, and it looks like a whole sew-in.
